The Uttar Pradesh government has banned people from gathering and holding rallies until June 30 after 25 people died from the corona virus.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced a ban on political rallies and socio-cultural events. According to him, the state government will also bring back the workers in other states.
In Uttar Pradesh, 1,600 people have been infected with the corona virus so far, of which 25 have died.
The number of infected people in India has crossed 24,000 and 775 people have died so far, according to the Indian Ministry of Health.
